The Army requires a contract for the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment and performing all work necessary to install 25 Ton air conditioning system in Building 4502, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Work includes but is not necessarily restricted to: furnishing and installing a 25 ton air conditioning system, furnishing and installing solenoid valves in liquid lines at air handler per manufacturer specifications, furnishing and installing sight glass and filter drier in each liquid line at split evaporator coil, furnishing and installing all necessary piping, changing air filters at the air handler, running low voltage wiring, furnishing and installing steel frame and vibration isolators under the air handler as required to support the unit, sleeving and sealing all electrical, refrigeration, and drain piping through walls; furnishing and installing mushroom type outside air vent with roof curb, spring loaded aluminum backdraft damper and bird screen on roof above the air handler, lining the first 10' of supply duct, insulating all ducts, performing all sheet metal ductwork construction as required, installing all ductwork, installing new breakers in existing panelboard, installing new copper conductors, installing new disconnect switches, installing new conduit, installing new receptacles, installing new plated steel channel, installing a new unit thermostat, installing pvc drain line, installing new automatic reservoir condensate removal pump, installing copper pipe, installing copper drain line, installing pipe straps, cutting out 2 openings through CMU walls to support the air conditioning work.
