Molis, Contracting Officer, 208-373-4150 Change description as follows: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is 12QR4-111-99 and is a request for quotations current through Federal Acquisition Regulation 45. This procurement is unrestricted. The standard classification code is 3441 and the small business size standard is 500. The procurement is to supply a 70' long steel bridge with curb and capability of being retrofitted with a rail system. All exposed steel shall be A2388, self-weathering. The Contractor must furnish prefabricated design drawings and calculations for an HS25 load rating for the specified bridge. Certification of the HS25 loading shall appear on the drawings. All items must comply with the Forest Service Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges (EM-7720-100, Aug 1996). Plans and calculations shall be submitted for approval 45 days of award. The bridge is to be delivered to the Burgdorf Guard Station, located on FDR 50251 in Section 1, Township 22 North, Range 4 East.
