This is a combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotation; proposals are being requested and a written request for quotation will not be issued. F04684-99-T0439 is being issued as a request for quotation for Thirty (30) Refrigerator/Freezer Units for Vandenberg AFB, CA. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The proposed procurement is unrestricted. The size standard and SIC are $6.5 million and 5722 respectively. There will 30 each item -- Contractor will supply Refrigerator/freezer units; approximately 13-cubit feet; frost-free; white finish; 2-door reversible; adjustable fresh food shelves; fruit/vegetable crispers; separate egg and dairy compartments; leveling legs; and interior light. Each refrigerator/freezer unit shall have full-range temperature controls and energy-efficient foam insulation. Size constraints: Unit cannot be greater than 50 inches deep from clean back (including coil if applicable) to front with door open 90 degrees. Additionally, unit should not be greater than 30-1/2 inches wide; there are no height constraints. This will be for FOB Destination; Delivery Date 30 days ARO to Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437.
