Center Division, Newport has a requirement for simulation services in
support of acoustic trainer and tactical systems. Tasks include the
following: develop and modify submarine acoustic trainer simulation
documentation, conduct/monitor tests for submarine acoustic and trainer
simulations, review submarine acoustic trainer and simulation
documentation, provide installation support services and planning for
simulations, analyze and resolve submarine acoustic trainer problems,
design, develop and fabricate interfaces and prototypes to support
submarine acoustic trainer simulation testing/evaluation, provide
special studies, develop simulation software, analyze simulation
algorithms, produce environmental and contact data for use by submarine
acoustic trainer and tactical systems, conduct training studies and
produce training support materials. A five (5) year Indefinite
Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (CPFF) contract is planned. Total
estimated level of effort is 170,500 hours. Key categories include:
Program/Project Manager III, Systems Engineer III, Systems
Analyst/Modeler III, Sr. Training Analyst/Training Engineer III, Sr
Training Specialist III, and Computer Operator IV. For each of these
key categories a minimum of one person is required. A single award will
be made based on best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will
include Technical Capability and Cost. This acquisition is being
solicited on an unrestricted basis. SIC Code is 8711. This is a
follow-on to contract N66604-95-D-0041 with Analysis & Technology,
