The Naval Air System Command intends to award a Sole Source contract modification to Cambridge Research Associates of McLean, VA to provide materials and services necessary to thoroughly integrate and test Reference Imagery Database Accuracy Enhancement software in the PowerScene II 3D situation awareness environment. NAVAIR Contract N00019-99-C-1334 was awarded on a sole source basis due to the unique experience, technical expertise, and historical data required to accomplish the Reference Imagery Database Accuracy Enhancement effort. The pending effort is being conducted as a sole source for the same rationale. These efforts will be accomplished under a modification to the existing contract.
