The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) has a requirement for base telecommunication system maintenance services in support of the Naval Station Everett, Everett, Washington. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, supplies, vehicles, test equipment, and any other items required to maintain the following: Four Northern Telcom PABX systems, one Meridian Voice Mail System, one remote IPE, batteries and rectifier systems, proprietary digital sets, a TMA Manakon network management/alarm system, fiber optic and copper cable plant, main frames, and two operator consoles. Additionally CLIN's will be established for labor and material to maintain and install inside/outside cable plant and fiber optics. The solicitation will be for a base period beginning 01 Nov 99 and ending on 30 Sep 00. Two, one year options (by fiscal year) will also be included. This acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12 and will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. PerFAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date will be reduced to 17 days from the date of publication of this announcement. The RFP will be issued on or about 27 August 1999 with a 2 week closing.
