D -- VINO MIGRATION SOFTWARE AND LICENSES SOL RFP-FMS-3508 DUE 090799 POC Anita Proctor fax 202-874-7275 The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS), intends to award a sole-source purchase order, based on 41 USC 253(c)(1) of one-responsible source with Computer Mail Services, 20300 Civic Center Drive, Ste. 300, Southfield, MI. This requirement is to purchase the Vino Software in order to migrate from a Banyan Vines LAN to a Windows NT platform with Lotus Notes as the e-mail client and licenses for 2200 users. Software must migrate and configure 2200 users from Vines e-mail to Lotus Notes Mail on a large group of user accounts at once and on both platforms. Software must be compatible with the latest release on Vines and Notes 4.5x or later. The Vino software is proprietaryy to Computer Mail Services. The Vino Software provides the tools to switch from Banyan Vines to Notes Mail. The estimated award date is September 30th 1999 with a one year option for maintenance and upgrades. No solicitation document or request for quotes exists and no award will be made on the basis of any response to this advertisement. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a request for quotes will be issued. If quotation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. This notice may represent the only official notice.
