Subject to the availability of funding, it is the intent of this medical center to award a requirement contract for said services. The services shall include materials, supplies, labor analysis and support to categorize, packaging, transport, documentation to include quarterly and annual waste summaries, and disposal. Contract requirements will not include bio-hazardous and or radioactive waste. The period of an awarded contract shall be 10/1/99, or date of award, through 9/30/2000. The awarded contract shall include four options allowing the government (VA) the unilateral right to extend the contract for 12 months each. Issue date of the solicitation will be on or about 9/1/99. All request for solicitation packages must be written on company letterhead. No facsimile request will be accepted.
