59 -- OPTION FOR ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES AND SERVICES UNDER THE AN/SPS-48E RADAR PROGRAM POC G. Michael Dodd, SEA 02522, Contracting Officer, (703) 602-8000 ext 568 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify the FY 2000 Option under Contract N00024-97-C-5233 with ITT Industries to increase the shipsets of equipment and services from a quantity of two to a quantity of three. The option call for the delivery of field change kits, receiver cables and installation kits and the incorporation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), upgrading and refurbishing AN/SPS-48E Radar Systems, Unable-To-Procure (UTP) resolution services, engineering services, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) maintenance support services under the AN/SPS-48E Radar Program. ITT Industries is the only known responsible source for the above described supplies and services and no other type of property or services will satisfy requirements, therefore a modification to add the option for additional work will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
