The announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; firm-fixed price quotations for purchase and installation of the following items are being requested and a written solicitaiton will not be issued. Funds are available for generator and fuel tank, funds will be available for drawings and installation FY00. Solicitation number DABT59-99-Q-0093 is being assigned to this procurement for tracking purposes only and this synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotaitons (RFQ). The incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This requirement is considered a small business set-aside; the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3621 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Line item 0001 One (1) 40kW generator and automatic transfer switch with 300gallon fuel tank (includes one full tank of fuel). Line item 0002 Installation on concrete pad, all electrical installation, automatic dial out monitoring system, crane to set generator. Line item 0003 Engineering Fee includes installation drawing for review by DGS, DPW and as-built documentation. Award shall be made based on the lowest price technically accepted.
