100% set-a-side for small businesses. The Standard Industrial
Classification Code is 1731. The size standard is $7 million dollars.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment,
materials and supervision necessary to perform inspection, maintenance
and testing on low, medium and high voltage (208 to 69KV ac rms)
electrical equipment specified herein. The work shall include, but is
not limited to, the identification, planning, scheduling, status
reporting, and analysis of electrical distribution and the emergency
generation systems maintenance. Electrical distribution includes all
facility electrical distribution systems such as (1) distribution lines
from delivery points to all main service entrance switches in
buildings, including substations and accessories; (2) secondary drops
to the building weather head or first connection to the building
system. The type of equipment to be tested includes, but is not limited
to: transformers (with tap changers), lightning arresters, overhead bus
work, insulators, air switches, fused disconnects, oil, air and vacuum
circuit breakers and contactors, protective relays, instrument
transformers, switchgear, switchgear mounted panel meters (voltage,
current, power factor, and KWH/KW), switchgear control wiring and
switches, low voltage panels and switchboards. There are also three
standby emergency generators. All work shall be performed with
equipment de-energized unless noted otherwise. Theacquisition method is
a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity contract, acquired by using
sealed bid procedures. A site visit is scheduled for 9/15/1999 at 9:00
AM. Contractors must make arrangements no later than 9/13/1999, with
Mr. Peter Schultes, in order to attend the site visit. Mr. Schultes can
