You are notified that the following changes are made: NASA Langley Research Center plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for Pilot Weather Information. Using the "Critical Decision Methodology" developed by Klein Associates, Inc., the contractor shall instruct NASA Langley Civil Service personnel on the use of the ACTA toolkit methods to conduct a cognizant task analysis with business jet pilots. This practicum minimally address using these, and possibly other, tools to identify (1) critical pilot decisions that involve weather information; and (2) how pilots integrate weather information with other flight deck information to make these critical decisions. The contractor will provide the required instruction and perform approximately one-third of the cognizant task analysis effort, while NASA personnel will perform the other two-thirds of the cognizant task analysis effort. The duedate for receipt of offers is extended 08/31/99.
