Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and management to perform all necessary operations in support of repair, maintenance, alteration, and/or new minor construction of real property at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. The Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) will be a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIC) type contract. It will include a wide range of individual construction tasks which includes carpentry, road and parking lot repair, roofing, excavating, interior and exterior electrical, steam fittings, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to design, manage and accomplish individual projects, and maintain a management/project office at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ to receive delivery orders and provide other management services related to accomplishing individual projects. The Government anticipates significant subcontracting activity under this SABER contract. The performance period is one (1) base year with four (4) option years at the Government_s option. The guaranteed base year minimum guarantee will be for $250, 000.00 with a maximum of $5,000,000.00. Any option year awarded thereafter will have the same minimum guarantee and maximum. The solicitation is unrestricted and open to all firms, including small and small disadvantage concerns. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance/Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures resulting in the Best Value to the Government.
