The Naval Air Systems Command is conducting full and open competition for the depot level maintenance support for support of 172 JT8D engines for the U.S. Navy and Marine C-9 aircraft, and the U.S. Air Force C-9, T43-A and C-22B aircraft. The solicitation will be published under the NAVAIR, website www.navair.navy.mil under "Business" within the next 48 hours. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be 4 October 1999 at 2:30 p.m. EDST. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled to be held on 2 September 1999, at 10:00 a.m. in building 1584, specifics on time, location, registration, hotels, etc can be found as an attachment at the NAVAIR website under this solicitation number.
