FREE STANDING MODULAR STUDIO SET Contractor will furnish all materials, design, and assembly instruction and at a minimum call basis consultations necessary to furnish a completed television news and interview studio. The government has the following basic conceptual requirements: 1. Anchor Desk _ Capable of seating one anchorperson expandable to fit two anchorpersons. Oval table top, wood finish, American Forces Network (AFN) logo to be on the front of the desk. Desk to be on top of risers, carpet on the risers with railing behind the anchor seat(s). Desk to have mounts for a 9_ resessed program monitor with tinted non-glare plexiglass. 2. Interview Area _ Capable of seating two expandable to three with a coffee table included (wood finish to match Anchor Desk). Enough room for chairs (not included). Riser must fit together with anchor desk riser and must be carpeted and detachable. 3. Background _ Maximum height 13 feet. Free standing and is positioned behind both the anchor desk and the interview area, and be capable of capturing three angles with different backgrounds to include over-the-shoulder graphics. Set must function in two distinctly separate areas (news & interview) yet have a single design theme for an integrated, unified appearance. AFN logo will need to be included as a design on the backgrounds. Attached is a floor plan of the available space the contractor may use. All contractors will be required to submit color illustrative drawing, basic floor plan with dimensions, assembly instruction, break down of materials by name and quantity, and a list of studio designs for a minimum of the last three years for past performance evaluation. The past performance list is to include the project title, name of company, point of contact for the company with phone number and fax number. Contractor will also state warranty period and coverage_s for the studio set. The contractor will be required to build the studio set in house and ship it to the government in sections ready for assembly. Each contractor will create a studio set based on the minimum requirements listed above. The contractor can request additional clarifications prior to closing date of Request for Quotation (RFQ). After closing date the government may request additional clarification in order to make a determination for award. The contractor has wide latitude to be creative in the design. Based on market research the government anticipates the project cost is $65,000.00 or less. Award of this contract will be based on the effectiveness of the design to include but not limited to aesthetic appearance, used of available floor space, ease of assembly, price and past performance.
