D -- ON-CALL MAINTENANCE SOL N68936-99-Q-A249 DUE 090799 POC Sue Casey, Contract Specialist, Code 230000D, (760) 939-4115 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons DIvision (NAWCWPNSDIV), China Lake, CA intends to procure as a competative 100% small business set-aside, SIC Code 7378, size standard $18.0M, on-call maintenance / repair of Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI) computer equipment located at NAWCWPNSDIV, China Lake, CA., using FAR Part 12, commercial items, and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items.The services will inlcude on-call preventive maintenacne, repair, reconfiguration and deinstallation, as well as upgrades to increase the size, speed, and performance, as needed for SGI manufactured information technology (IT) equipment and attached peripherals. Peripherals can include, but not be limited to monitors, keyboards, tape drives, and disk drives (may be third party). All work will be done in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), which will be released with the quotation. The contractor must have, or be able to obtain and keep a Secret Clearance. The services will be for a base period of threeyeards, and two, one year options. The base period will be from date of award or 01 Nov 99, whichever is later. The option years would be the following years as applicable.
