Its 157,000 medical terms are placed within natural hierarchies and categorized by eleven modules. The terminology covers diseases, clinical findings, etiologies, therapies, procedures and outcomes. Deliverables to include a plan for the creation of an Excel spread sheet with columns for SNOMED V2,3.4 & ICD-0 Codes, an Excel spread sheet that maps SNOMED to ICD-0 topography and documentation of methods used to review existing maps from SNOMED to ICD-0, and decisions made when mapping choices were not clear. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized and an oral quotation will be solicited on or about 09/03/99.
