Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to place a delivery order under Basic
Ordering Agreement N00019-99-G-1101 with Raytheon Missile Systems
Company, P. O. Box 11337, Tucson, Arizona, for training of Foreign
Military Sales (FMS) customer in intermediate level maintenance of the
AIM-7M Air-to-Air missile and the AN/DSM-156B Sparrow test set. This
information was previously announced on 13 July 1999 NAVAIR synopsis
number 20161-99. In addition, NAVAIR intends to procure contractor
engineering technical services (CETS) to assist the FMS customer in
setup and operation of the Interim Test Facility and to assist in
identifying any deficiencies in facilities, test and handling and
calibration equipment, tools, technical manuals, consumables, and
training equipment prior to formal AIM-7M training. RMSC is currently
the only company manufacturing and repairing the AIM-7 Sparrow missile
and is the only company that possesses the detailed technical
knowledge, data and experienced personnel to perform the required
instruction described. The period of performance for this effort will
be for up to six (6) months. This synopsis is for informational
