Solicitation (RFP) is an 8(a) set-aside and is restricted to 8(a) vendors within Region IV. For this procurement, it has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) certified firms with eligibility within Region IV which have 5812 among their approved SIC codes. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. RFP is for base year, 1 OCT 2000 30 SEP 2001 with four one-year options for renewal for total of five years. The projected RFP issue date is 22 Oct 99. A two-phase evaluation process will be used. Phase I is submission and evaluation of Past Performance, Past Experience, Key Personnel, Phase-In Plan, and Quality Control Plan with an approximate submission date of 30 Nov 99. Phase II is oral presentations and submission of written Technical approach, slides to be used for oral presentation, Schedule of line items, Representations and Certifications, Cost Proposal, and Staffing Plan. Submission date for Phase II will be established after evaluation of Phase I and will be at least 30 days after notice. RFP will be issued only on the Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Ft Gordon, GA internet website. No written copies will be provided.
