This Solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation 10-99-035 is issued as an invitation for bid. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The associated standard industrial classification code is 4953 with a small business size standard of $6.0 Million. Statement of work is as follows: Furnish dump-type trash containers and the collection and disposal of solid waste at the Blackfeet Service Unit Hospital and at the Heart Butte Health Clinic Facility, under the landfill requirements of the RCRA. Excluding Medical and Hazardous Waste. The contractor shall transport and dispose of all routine and adequate solid waste to an EPA-approved disposal site. In addition, the contractor will also provide adequate and appropriate solid waste transportating vehicles and equipment. The offeror whose proposal represents thebest value to the Government will be selected. This work is on a contractual basis and is not a personal appointment to a Federal job. The contractor will not be subject to Government supervision. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. Therefore, each initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms and conditions from a price and technical standpoint. Offeror's must submit a Tax ID Number (SS# for individuals). The contractor is required as a conditions of payment under a resulting contract, to submit Department of Treasury, Financial Management Service, FMS 2231, Direct Deposit Form, prior to submission of first invoice. The anticipated period of performance will be date of issue October 1, 1999 to September 30, 2000 with option to renew for one additional year.
