COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 23,1999 PSA#2415FULL TABLE OF SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARDS MATCHED TO SIC CODES
PUBLISHED BY SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION The U.S. Small Business
Administration (SBA) on August 18, 1999, published in the Federal
Register (64 FR 44986) a full table of small business size standards by
four-digit Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code. The table
reflects changes made to size standards since publication of SBA's
Small Business Size Regulations on January 31, 1996. There have been
two changes, namely: 1) Implementation of the Very Small Business (VSB)
Set-Aside Pilot Program; and 2) Increase to the size standards for
general Engineering (part of SIC 8711), Architectural (SIC 8712),
Surveying (SIC 8713), and Mapping Serices (part of SIC 8739). Though
the VSB Program does not affect the table of size standards, it is
mentioned for informational purposes. The table itself does not create,
establish or modify any size standards currently in existence. This
table merely presents all four-digit SIC codes for which SBA has
established a small business size standard as a convenient reference
for users of SBA's size standards. WEB: Full Table of Small Business
