A -- AFRL IMAGE REGISTRATION WORKSHOP The Sensors Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory announces an Image Registration Workshop to be held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, on September 22, 1999. The objective of the workshop is to provide a forum for the exchange of information between researchers, engineers, and practitioners in the areas of image registration and geo-referencing. The focus of the workshop will be on determining the state-of-the-art for automatic, co-registration of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and multispectral/hyperspectral imagery. This workshop will be conducted at the unclassified level. However, attendance will be restricted to US citizens only. There is no guarantee of funding. Those interested in making a presentation are invited to submit a tentative title and an abstract of their proposed presentation(s). Cutoff date for abstract submission is September 3, 1999. Cutoff date for registration is September 14, 1999. Advanced registration is required. Registrations on the day of the workshop will not be accepted. Seating is limited. There will be a registration fee. The cost of attending this workshop is not an allowable charge to any government contract.
