reached by following Highway 26 for approximately seven (7) miles to
the east of Zigzag Ranger Station, to Kiwanis Camp Road 2639. The
project begins where the Pioneer Bridle Trail intersects with the south
side of the highway, just east of the Highwy 26/Forest Road 2639
junction. The trail remains on the south side of the Highway to the end
of the project at Tollgate Compound. The main objective is to
reconstruct and repair approximately 6000 M of flood damaged trail.
Work includes, but is not limited to, constructing ditches and
elevating tread in designated areas, installing rolling dips where
needed; and re-establishing a designated trailbed finish in areas where
needed. Desired Start Work Date is September 25, 1999. Recommended
Contract Time is 30 calendar days. The Government estimate range is
