The following is a brief description of the work to be performed: Removal of existing walls including concrete locker pedestal, cove base, receptacles, conduit, wires, fittings & assessories; termination of all electric lines to the nearest junction box & capped; repair existing floor by installing underlayment and medical quality vinyl flooring to match existing floor; repair ceiling; removal of entire dictation rooms; removal of existing X-ray pass through box and fill-in openings by installing metal studs, gypsum board and ceramic wall tiles, and all incidental related work. Normal working hours for the contractor inside the main operating room is from 1600 until 0400 hours Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends except the first weekend of the month unless otherwise specified. There is a 45-calendar day completion requirement. Solicitation packages will be available on or about September 2, 1999.
