The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command has a requirement to Remove and Replace HVAC Units 14 and 15 in Building No. 16. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to (a) Remove one 30 ton packaged water cooled condensing unit, and two air handling units with DX coil and steam coil, specified ductwork, piping, asbestos insulation, fiberglass insulation, electrical service, and control wiring. (b) Furnish and install one new 20 ton packaged water-cooled condenser, one new packaged roof top air handling unit with supply fan, power exhaust fan, and economizer cycle. (c) Furnish and install specified ductwork including duct mounted DX cooling coil and duct mounted steam heating coil. (d) Provide new isolation valves, strainers and steam traps for six existing duct mounted reheat coils and steam traps for two new duct mounted reheat coils. (e) Provide necessary piping, electrical service, and controls to make system complete and operational. Work will be performed at the U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command, Natick, Ma. Period of Performance is 180 calendar days. The SIC Code for the acquisition is 1542. The Small Business Size Standard is $17.0 Mil. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated. Offerors are required to attend the Site Visit on 10 September at 10:00am.
