The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is releasing Revision A of the NASA Announcement of Opportunity (AO 99-OSS-03) entitled Gamma Ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST). In addition to the complete announcement previously released, this Revision A contains (1) an extension of the due dates for Notices of Intent and Proposals, (2) an important statement clarifying the proposal and submission requirements for the Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) program. In addition (3) the review procedure for the proposed E/PO effort is described in more detail. This Revision also (4) alerts potential proposers to a Question and Answer Page to provide clarification and expansion on specific questions which have arisen concerning matters addressed in the AO. This site may be found at http://glast.gsfc.nasa.gov. This revision will be posted on August 23, 1999, on the World Wide Web site at http://spacescience.nasa.gov/research/open.htm.
