AND ACQUISITION SUPPORT II (TAMS 2). The Air Force Air Armament Center
at Eglin AFB (AAC/PKZ), will be holding an informational Industry Day
for prospective TAMS 2 offerors on 03 September 99, 0830 -- 1030 at
Eglin AFB, FL. Check-in and registration is at 0830 at the Eglin AFB
Conference Center, Bldg. 16, Georgia Avenue, Eglin AFB, FL 32542.
One-on-One_s with Companies/Teams will be on 03 Sep from 1130-1700 in
Bldg. 350, Conf Rm. 602. All one-on-one slots are fifteen minutes on a
first call first serves basis. The one-on-one_s will be a time frame
for company-specific questions only. The registration notices required
prior to conference can be faxed/e-mailed to the Industry Day
Registration POC, Ms. Regenia David, 850-882-4711 ext. 6604, fax
850-882-6278. To ensure approval to travel on-base send attendees name,
title, social security number, company, and phone number preferably to

Force is contemplating awarding one competitive 8(a) and one small
business set-aside. For program status reference CBD announcement 01
Apr 99 (Sources Sought Synopsis). Firms responding to this synopsis
should be an 8(a) or a small business concern as defined in FAR 52.219
(Size standard 1000; SIC Code 8731). An Ombudsman has been appointed
to hear concerns from offerors and potential offerors during the
proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the
Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Contracting Officer,
but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and
recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. All potential
offerors should use established channels to voice concerns before
resorting to the use of the Ombudsman. When requested, the Ombudsman
will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in
the selection decision. Interested parties should direct all routine
communication concerning this acquisition to Gary M. Salava,

ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT SUPPORT II (TAMS 2). The Air Force Air Armament
Center at Eglin AFB FL (AAC/PKZ) plans to issue a Request for Proposal
(RFP) on or about 17 September 1999 to provide for non-engineering
Technical and Acquisition Management Support II (TAMS 2) at Eglin AFB
and other locations as required. A three-year Cost Plus Award Fee
(CPAF)/Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Task Order
contract with two one-year options for approximately 340 total program
man-years of effort per year is contemplated. The Government intends
to award one competitive 8(a) and one small business set-aside. The
