The USDA requests information regarding a proposed indefinite quantity contract for the procurement of single frame vertical aerial photography or digital imagery. Requirements include natural color positive transparencies 9"x9" at 1:7,920 scale, with digital image files on CDROM. There are a total of approximately 70,000 Primary Sample Unit (PSU) sites located nationwide to be acquired each year for a base year with four option years. Each site location will be identified by latitude longitude coordinates and ground elevation. A global positioning system (GPS) aircraft guidance system is highly recommended. Each site requires only one exposure. Image collection will be completed during the summer months when peak agricultural growth occurs.
