This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F64133-99-Q0347, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Request for Quotation (RFQ) to provide all parts, labor, material, equipment and transportation to build and deliver a 45_x 8_ aluminum high cube shipping container that needs to be converted into usable office space. (see attached statement of work). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect as of Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This requirement is a total Small Business set aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542, and the small business size standard is $5.0 mil. The solicitation will be written in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 for Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available via the Internet at the following website: www.eps.gov The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph 10 is amended as follows: Past performance information, is included as an evaluation factor. Offeror shall submit past performance information to include 3 recent and relevant contracts for the same items. Include short description, contract no. and point of contact. For the purposes of completing paragraph (a) of provision 52.212-2, the specific evaluation factors to be used are (1) product conformity to the specifications (2) price and (3) past performance.
