NASA/LaRC plans to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Designing, furnishing and installing a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC) to service approximately 7,350 square feet of new first and second floor offices in Building 1229, Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $100,000 to $250,000 and the effort shall be completed within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small busines size standard for this procurement are 1711 and $7M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about August 27, 1999 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about September 27, 1999. The provisions and clauses in the solicitation are those in effect through FAC 97 -- 11. The firm date for receipt of bids will be stated in the IFB. Drawings will be available from the Bid Distribution Office. All responsible qualified sourcesmay submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
