The following question has been received in response to these notices: (1) In reference to Solicitation RFP 16-95CV-99, specifications for high temperature infectious waste incinerator, there is no mention of 2-sec retention time secondary chamber or port air injection system. Please advise. RESPONSE: We do require a 2 second retention in the secondary chamber. We also require a port air injection system. The date set for receipt of proposals is September 1, 1999. All offers shall be sent to the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, 800 Buchanan Street, Room 2021, Albany, CA 94710. Faxed offers will not be accepted. Offers must include descriptive literature for the equipment being proposed.
