Turkey invites bids for the procurement and installation of foru each
3D Radars at the locations of Aksaray, Iskenderun, Malarya and
Sandikhyurt, Turkey and procurement of their Contractor Logistics
Support(CLS). All systme s shall be procured on "Turn-key" basis. This
procurement procedure of the AIMS radars will be coordinated with the
respective procurement of Lefkas radar in Greece, so that the same
lowest compliant bidder in both ICBs will be awarded the contracts for
the five radars and their CLS.Some of the work includes provision of
four fixed TEMPEST 3D, D or E/F band, long range, Air Defense Radar
with Secondary Search Radars (SSR), Radar Environment Simulators (RES)
and Radome, capable to detect and track Tactical Ballistic Missiles
(TBM, including installation, testing, and integration. Also provision
for each radar and install 2 each 100 W, G/A/G, UHF, Have Ouick-II
(HQ) radios; 2 each Antenna Masts, 2 each Remote Control System and 1
each HQ timing systems, 1 each PBX with ten subscribers and integration
of these HAVE QUICK radios at the Radar site into the Voice
Communications Switches at the controlling sites, including,
accessories, telephone sets, cabling, trenching, installation, check
out, and acceptance activities. Firms willing to apply for eligibility
for Turkish project have to apply for Hellenic project as well. As the
bidding document will be classified NATO CONFIDENTIAL, it is esential
that all nominated firms be in possession of a Facility Security
Clearance of at least NATO CONFIDENTIAL. All applicants must be
certified to compete in NATO ICB by the U.S. Department of Commerce,
