Salient CharacteristicsForMPEG-2 Video over ATM1.0 ScopeThe specifications presented in the document define the requirements for an MPEG-2 broadcast quality video distribution system. The system will encode and decode digital and analog video signals utilizing the standard as defined by the Motion Picture Experts Group. ISO/IEC 13818.
