The U.S. Army Materiel Command Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for a quantity of 328 Jack, Roof Lifting, NSN: 7360-01-247-2367, FSMC: 7330. The Government intends to utilize best value source selection procedures. This acquisition will be solicited and awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. The general characteristics and item description are: Operation method: plain screw; Operating mechanism location: mounted end; Retracted height: 49.0 inches; Travel distance: 40.0 inches; Maximum height when fully extended: 89.0 inches; Base attachment width: 2.156 inches; Length: 3.000 inches plus (+) or minus (-) 0.062; Base design: rigid. The Jack, Roof Lifting will be used with the Kitchen, Field, Trailer mounted and will be used to raise the roof of the kitchen from transportable mode to operational mode. The roof will be parallel to the floor. All deliveries of the 328 Jack, Roof Lifting shall be F.O.B. Destination with 150 shipped to New Cumberland, PA; 127 shipped to Texarkana, TX, and the remaining 51 shipped to Stockton, CA. The quantity of 150 are required to be delivered within 120 days after award of a purchase order. The remaining quantity of 178 are required to be delivered within 150 days after award of a purchase order. The best value source selection will be based on the quoter's proposed price and past performance in that order of importance. Pricing shall be filled in on the Request for Quotation DAAD15-99-T-0047 (CLIN 0001AA). Quoters shall also submit a one-page past performance sheet listing at least three recent (past two years) references for the same or a similar item. The past performance sheet must contain the name and address of each company or government agency, a point of contact for each, a current telephone and fax number, and a description of the quantity and dollar value of the purchase order/contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3423 and the size standard is 500 employees.
