It is the VA's intention to solicite proposals and award multiple contracts on a competitive basis to nation footwear centers within the Va Medical Center's jurisdiction under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. Section 8123. The VA anticipates the award of multiple contracts on a firm fixed price basis from this solicitation for commercial items. It is expected that each contract will contain one (1) base year and four (4) one year option periods to extend term of contract. The DVA shall determine (based on an integrated assessment of each offeror's technical and price proposal) the individual proposals judged to be most advantageous to the Government.
