USSOCOM Special Operations Acquisition & Logistics Center will host an "Industry Day III" on 22-23 September 1999 at MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida. The purpose of Industry Day III is to review recent industry feedback provided to the USSOCOM Acquisition Executive and to discuss alternative program strategies which will lead toward a successful program solution. The format for Industry Day III will include a general session (open to all) followed by one-on-one sessions with individual contractors (or teams) who request one. Industry Day III will also include a splinter group discussion of the C-130 EIRS signature suppression requirement. This splinter group discussion will be a classified session conducted at the SECRET level. Additional information will be forthcoming within a week regarding the agenda and specific topics contractors are requested to be prepared to discuss.
