The Volpe Center in support of Headquarters Air Mobility Command (HQ AMC), Directorate of Logistics, plans to solicit a sole source Simplified Acquisition purchase from Information Tool Designers, Inc., Westport, MA, to provide an analysis of the methodology to describe the logistic acquisition process and system improvements for the BROKER development group in the area of Network Security Design, Internet Security and Commerce and Development of a Logistics Database. To succeed in doing the many logistic functions there is a need to distribute critical information in a secure manner to a number of commands and control functions located throughout the world. The objective of this requirement is to research, plan, facilitate, validate, test and recommend systems security improvements to t he existing Volpe operational infrastructure as it may apply to the continued support of AMC. Small Business firms classified under SIC Code 7373 that are interested in proposing on this solicitation must respond in writing no later than 15 days from the date of this publication that they have experience working with AMC s G081, C2IPS, CAMS, FFS and ReVis systems, the Ministry of Defense s (MOD) PAX, FFS systems, Federal Aviation Administration s (FAA) ETMS system and the Broker system. Detailed architectural knowledge of AMC and FAA systems is also required for this study.
