Hamberg, 512-326-6501 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, Texas intends to negotiate sole source with Compuware Corp. for continued maintenance of the licensed proprietary software, ABEND AID XLS and FILE AID MVS for the period 10/1/99 through 9/30/00. The software maintenance support is for service bureau rights previously obtained. Responses must be in writing and must be received within 10 calendar days of this notice. Third party firms will be considered only if responding in writing with clear and convincing evidence that it has been granted rights by Compuware Corp. to provide software maintenance for service bureau rights for the proprietary software identified herein. Responses must include pricing and documentation in sufficient detail to allow evaluation of the service. No solicitation document is available and requests for such will be considered non-responsive. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If one is issued, no additional synopsis will be issued.
