The Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA intends to award a fixed price contract using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13. The perspective contractor will conduct a "needs assessment" of the Environmental Security branch located aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. This assessment will consist of, but not limited to, determining the types of incidents specific to the Environmental Security branch, and the required reporting to regulatory agencies. In coordination with the Environmental staff personnel, the contractor shall develop up to three automated prototype modules for incident reporting on the Geographic Information System (GIS). Modules will store incident data in a shared database, and generate reports applicable to regulatory agencies. Proposals must be received no later than 1600, PST, 15 September 1999.
