R -- ORAL HEALTH INITIATIVE TASK FORCE SOL HRSA-99-BHPR-A70751 DUE 090899 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Quality Resource Systems, Inc., 11350 Random Hills Road, Suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22030. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to prepare a series of databases and county-level maps for six states displaying: areas with shortages of oral health professionals; children in poverty; and the specific number of dental health specialty providers in each area. The contractor shall: obtain data on allied oral care professionals and Federally funded community health centers offering dental care as well as obtain data on children eligible for State or Federal assistance with regard to oral health; prepare files, tabulations and maps of the data; provide this material to DHHS website administrators; provide assistance to pilot states; and prepare a report of the project. Quality Resource Systems, Inc. is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is twenty weeks.
