Systems Command (NAVSEA) plans to conduct a competition to satisfy its
requirement for professional, technical and management services in the
areas of Program Planning Support, Management Information System
Support, Systems Engineering Support, Program Management Analytical
Support, Logistics Planning Support, Security Planning and Management
Support, STANDARD Missile Selected Acquisition Reports and Technical
and Analytical Support for Production and Development Tasking
Documentation and Data Requirements, to the Standard Missile Program
Office, PMS 422. Services will be for a five year period. It is
anticipated that this effort will result in a maximum total of
1,320,000 orderable work units (man-hours) for the five year period.
The successful offerors will be required to possess a SECRET facility
clearance and safeguarding capability. Terms and conditions will be
contained in RFP N00024-00-R-5379. A multiple award ID/IQ contract is
anticipated. This solicitation will be posted on the INTERNET on or
about 29 September 1999. To access the solicitation, use one of the
following methods. Users with INTERNET access can use WEB browsers such
as NETSCAPE or INTERNET EXPLORER to access the NAVSEA Contracts Web
Page at http://www.contracts.hq.navsea.navy.mil . Users with dial-up
host connection to the INTERNET (such as America On Line, CompuServe or
Prodigy) can access the NAVSEA Contracts Web Page by using their
INTERNET access software. This solicitation, which will include related
files (i.e., RFP, CDRLs and DD Form 254) can be located by the
solicitation number above and downloaded directly to your workstation.
In addition, offerors are hereby notified that no paper hardcopies of
the solicitation will be provided.. This RFP will solicit an "Oral
Presentation" as part of the proposal. Questions concerning this
