Scope of Work asks for the removal and disposal of existing carpet in areas highlighted on drawings enclosed in Solicitation Package. Remove and dispose of floor baseboard and save door thresholds in areas highlighted. Prepare floor to be recarpet. Furnish and install carpeting where old carpeting was removed. Furnish and install baseboard where old baseboard was removed. New baseboard is to match existing. New carpeting is to match old in color, weight and type. At pre-construction meeting contractor is to furnish samples of carpet and baseboard. These samples will be approved by GSA. All work is to be done after normal working hours, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can made. No legal liability on thepart of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
