Z -- RENOVATE PRIMARY SWITCHGEAR PHASE II AT THE GRAND ISLAND DIVISION OF VA GREATER NEBRASKA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM SOL RFP 597-19-99 POC Bonnie Obermier, 402-486-7880 It is the intention of the VA Greater Nebraska Health Care System, Grand Island Division, to negotiate and award a HUBZone sole source for the purpose of renovating the High Voltage portion of the Primary Switchgear Phase II. As per FAR 19.1306 it has been determined that only one HUBZone small business concern can satisfy the rquirements. Renovate Primary Switchgear Phase I, the low voltage portion of the project was awarded to the same small business under the 8(a) program. The HUBZone small business concern has been determined to be a responsible contractor with respect to performance, and a favorable negotiation is expected. The anticipated price of the contract is between $250,000 and $500,000. The SIC is 1731. At present time funds for the project are not available. Award will only be made upon funding of the project.
