The E2/C2 Fleet Support Team has a requirement for an initial offering of three waveguide pressurization bleed valve (PBV) prototype units and fifty-five PBV production units. These prototype units shall, in all characterisitics, comply with the detailed drawing that will be available with the Request for Quotation. The units shall be delivered to the E2/C2 Fleet Support Team, Naval Air Station, Naval Aviation Depot, Building 378, North Island, San Diego, California. After delivery and acceptance of the prototypes, the units will be installed on an E2 aircraft and subjected to an operational testing process. The operational testing may result in design changes being incorporated into the controlling drawing. It is required that the Contractor be present during the operational testing to coordinate possible design changes. Upon completion of the operational testing and possible incorporation of design changes to the controlling drawing, the Contractor shall be notified to begin work on the remaining 55 units. These 55 units shall be configured to incorporate the changed design. Delivery time for the three prototype units is 30 calendar days after date of award.
