28 -- COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS CONVERSION KITS FOR DIRECT DIESEL FULE INJECTION FORKLIFTS SOL M67004-99-Q-0040 DUE 090799 POC Sgt Sanchez, Code 89-1, (912)439-6784 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Responses should reference Request for Quotation No. M67004-99-Q-0040. This synopsis/solicitation document incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action will be unrestricted regarding business size. The following is a list of the requirements: Line item 0001: Purchase of forty-four (44) Complete Compressed Natural Gas Conversion Kits for direct diesel fuel injection forklifts. Addenda will be faxed or mailed to prospective offerors (See Point of Contact). Each prospective offeror will have an opportunity to visit the Garrison Mobile Equipment Branch to inspect each forklift for a proper quote. Installation is not part of this requirement. Deliver shall be FOB Destination, MCLB Albany, GA 31704 with inspection/acceptance at destination. Delivery is required within 30 days after Contract award.
