This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation M67004-99-R-0034 incorporates provisions in effect through Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13 & Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. SIC Code is 2999. Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This requirement is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is a fully competed procurement. The contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price, F.O.B.- Destination for 1 each Fuel Filtration/Additive Unit (FAU). Drawings are NOT available; however, a sketch is available with a list of components by requesting a FAX from the POC. Also, arrangements can be made to see a working Model of a FAU in Jacksonville, Florida. Delivery requirement is AS-SOON-AS-POSSIBLE. Inspection and Acceptance will be at ORIGIN with F.O.B. at DESTINATION. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses are being implemented in this requirement. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- - Commercial Items, applies except paragraph (s): Ignore (d), (h), and all of (i). Paragraph (b) offers may be submitted by FAX and in addition to the DUNS number requirement in (j), the contractor is required to include their DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) number.
