The Navy requires Flat Panel Displays, BARCO model number RFD251-S, manufactured in accordance with salient characteristics. These items will be procured on a sole-source basis from Barco Display Systems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. These Barco panels have undergone environmental qualification testing under the U.S. Navy Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion program. As a result of the unique design specifications, no other vendor's components can be substituted without the Government incurring substantial costs to have the system redesigned. See Note 22. The Navy requires a minimum of 2 each with a potential maximum of 30. The Navy anticipates the award of a fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity supply type contract with a 3-year ordering period. Delivery is required FOB Crane, IN. Delivery shall be within 120 days from effective date of issuance of delivery order. Final inspection and acceptance will be at destination. FAR Part 13.5 applies.
