This is a firm fixed price requirement for 9 Each, Part Number FA-01-0776PBA, IACEM 980 Continuous Monitoring System. The upgrade proposed is a replacement part for the existing Real Time Analytical Platforms (RTAPs) at Pine Bluff Chemical Activity, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff Arkansas. RTAPs are mobile monitoring systems designed by the Army for detecting low levels of chemical agents. The instrumentation includes, in part, a monitoring system composed of a Dynatherm ACEM 900 sampler mounted on a Hewlett Packard gas chromatograph. An improved Dynatherm unit is now available called IACEM 980 as a replacement for the older ACEM 900. The new unit must be a direct replacement part for the existing monitoring system. The specifications for the replacement part are as follows: It will have dual collection tubes operating in alternate cycles to provide continuous, uninterrupted sample collection and concentration throughout the survey period. Each is linked in tandem with a focusing trap, enabling efficient chromatographic separation of agents and interferences. It will be fully automated and have the same Heated Zones, Setpoint Range, Timed Events, Sampling Flow, RS-232 Interface, GC Interface, Carrier Gas/Valving, Environment, Power Requirements and Dimensions as the original commercially available ACEM 900 it is replacing. The required delivery date is 30 Nov 99. Delivery is F.O.B. destination.
