The 10th Air Base Wing Contracting flight has issued this Request for information and sources sought synopsis in order to perform market research for Research, Development, and Education Support Services to support the Department of Faculty, USAF Academy CO. The current contract expires July of 2000. Task orders were issued for performance under the following disciplines: Basic sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities. A typical task order would involve problem identification, concept formulation and trade-off considerations, item/process analysis and specifications, requirements analysis and definition, systems design and analysis, software development, testing, system refinement, maintenance, reliability and quality assurance, and engineering or system documentation. Information requested for market research is concerned with draft PWS review and comment (when available); any proposed existing PWS/task order formats used in the commercial marketplace, capability statements from interested parties; business size standard information from interested parties; and industry comments on solicitation and evaluation development.
