The requirement to obtain a system cleaning license from the El Paso County Health Department to perform contracted services on the USAF Academy is deleted. While the majority of loads will be 42,000 gallons, circumstances may dictate the need to remove and apply loads of approximately 21,000 gallons. The estimated maximum total per year remains 2,856,000 gallons. Therefore, CLIN 0001 and option year CLINs 1001,1002,1003,and 1004 are changed to reflect an estimated 58 loads @ 42,000 gallons each year. CLIN 0002 and option year CLINs 2001,2002,2003,and 2004 are added with estimated 20 loads @ 21,000 gallons each year. Please provide quotes for both load capacities. The USAF Academy is presently conducting a utilities privatization study that may impact this contract and the exercising of optional periods of performance. FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services (AUG 1989) is added to this solicitation andany subsequent contract.
